How can I send my students their credentials/login data when I’ve forgotten to do that in the beginning?

In the menu, go to ‘My students’ and select a group or class in the Group/class dropdown. Then select the relevant students and click the button ‘Send credentials to Users’.

 

If a student forgot her/his credentials, can I create new ones?

Yes, this is possible. Just follow the exact same steps as for the previous question.

 

My students haven’t received the assignment yet. What to do?

Please check if you’ve changed the assignment Status (in the Assignment Profile) from draft to published.

 

If a student has difficulties handing in a text, can I as a teacher do this for the student?

Yes this is possible. Go to the assignments list, then choose the student and click ‘Hand in’.

 

Can I make different assignments for a part of the class?

Yes this is possible by making separate groups (not possible for SOMtoday users).

 

Will plagiarism also be detected when text has been used by another student in the same or another class?

Yes.

 

Do I send back the grade and feedback to each student one by one, or can I send it back to the whole class/group at once?

Both are possible.

 

Can I add more classes during the school year?

If you’re authorised go to Management, create Subject, Class, Group and upload a new class. If not, ask the Revisely administrator of your school or reach out to Team Revisely.

 

If my colleague would also like to have an account with Revisely, how does that work?

Your colleagues can send an email to info@revise.ly. We will send them credentials for a new account. If your school works with SOMtoday, the colleagues can simply click the Revisely button in the SOMtoday dashboard.

 

Can I change my email address?

Only teachers and users of a higher profile (Director of Studies, Director, System Manager, etc) can change their email addresses by themselves.
Students cannot change their email address, to do that they should contact their Teacher, Director of Studies or Director.

 

How can I delete my Revisely account?

Only teachers and users of a higher profile (Director of Studies, Director, System Manager, etc) can remove users from Revisely.
Students cannot delete their accounts.

 

How secure is Revisely?

Revisely takes security and privacy of the information handled very seriously.
To ensure this, and regarding encryption, all passwords are stored in hashed encrypted form in a database.
In addition, when a certain number of login attempts is exceeded the application automatically disables the account.

 

Where does Revisely keep all user data?

All information is stored encrypted on our servers in Amsterdam with a backup system that guarantees the preservation of data for as long as the laws of each country determine. We do not keep information about assignments locally on your computers in order to guarantee the confidentiality and security of such information.

I still can’t find the answer to my question, what do I do?

In addition, it is also possible to do a ‘Guided tour’ through the Revisely app. You can find this option in the help menu of Revisely’s app. Of course, it is also possible to send us an email.
